Bilingual Driver Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Bilingual Driver Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for drivers. The ideal candidate will have strong recruitment and communication skills, experience sourcing candidates through Indeed and other job boards, and the ability to efficiently screen, qualify, and onboard drivers while maintaining accurate records and consistent follow-up.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST, with Saturdays required during November and December (40 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
Driver Recruitment
Source and recruit drivers through Indeed and other job boards
Review applications, resumes, and candidate qualifications
Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process
Coordinate interviews and hiring activities
Follow up with candidates to maintain engagement and ensure timely completion of hiring steps
Driver Qualification & Compliance
Verify driver licenses, qualifications, and required documentation
Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment requirements, where applicable
Ensure all required documentation is complete and properly maintained
Identify missing or incomplete information and follow up with candidates
Driver Onboarding
Manage the driver onboarding process from offer through completion
Collect and organize required onboarding documents
Enter new drivers into the payroll system
Coordinate and track required online safety training
Ensure drivers complete all onboarding requirements before starting
Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate candidate and driver records
Update recruitment and onboarding status regularly
Track candidate progress and outstanding requirements
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to active driver
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, driver recruitment, staffing, or a related role
Strong written and spoken communication in both English and Spanish languages
Experience sourcing candidates through Indeed and other online job boards
Strong phone screening and interviewing skills
Excellent follow-up and candidate management skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Comfortable handling confidential candidate and employment information
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience recruiting CDL, truck, delivery, or commercial drivers
Experience verifying driver licenses, qualifications, and compliance documentation
Experience with background checks and pre-employment screening
Experience with payroll or HR systems
Familiarity with transportation, logistics, or trucking operations
Experience coordinating online training or compliance requirements
What Success Looks Like?
The successful candidate will consistently maintain a strong pipeline of qualified drivers, move candidates efficiently through screening and onboarding, keep documentation accurate and complete, and ensure new drivers are fully onboarded and ready to begin work on schedule.
