PAPER BAG TECHNICIAN / SUPERVISER/ PRODUCTION MANAGER

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Solapur for a Paper Bag Technician / Supervisor / Production Manager. The role involves overseeing paper bag production lines, setting up and operating machinery, and ensuring continuous, efficient operation throughout each shift. The position includes monitoring product quality, coordinating with operators and helpers, resolving machine issues, and implementing process adjustments to meet production targets. The role also covers supervising workforce activities, maintaining safety and housekeeping standards, recording production data, and reporting any deviations or maintenance needs to management. The Paper Bag Technician / Supervisor / Production Manager works closely with the production team to meet delivery schedules and support ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting of paper bag manufacturing equipment.
Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with experience in inspecting finished products, monitoring defects, and maintaining quality documentation.
Candidates should possess knowledge of the Paper Industry and related production practices, including materials handling and packaging standards.
Candidates should possess understanding of industrial Machinery and Process Optimization to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Relevant experience in manufacturing or packaging production, preferably in paper bags or similar converting operations.
Ability to supervise production staff, allocate tasks, and maintain a safe working environment.
Strong attention to detail, basic numerical and record-keeping skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Diploma or vocational qualification in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing disciplines is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
