Cybersecurity Intern – Remote
Cyber Guard Solutions Team (CGST) is looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Intern who is interested in gaining practical exposure to cybersecurity, security research, vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, and professional security documentation.
Internship Details
• Work mode: Remote
• Location: India
• Stipend: ₹1,000 per month
• Experience: Freshers / early-career candidates welcome
Responsibilities
• Assist with basic vulnerability assessment and security research under supervision
• Support threat analysis and cyber-awareness activities
• Review basic security configurations and document findings
• Learn and use cybersecurity tools in authorized lab environments
• Prepare clear technical notes and security documentation
Preferred Skills
• Basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS and HTTP
• Familiarity with Linux / Kali Linux
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Wireshark or Nmap is an advantage
• Awareness of vulnerability assessment, OWASP, incident response or threat analysis is desirable
• Strong willingness to learn and follow ethical and authorized security-testing practices
Students, recent graduates and candidates building a career in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply. Practical projects, labs, CTF participation or cybersecurity certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
