About The Role

We're looking for professional German-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train the next generation of AI systems to sound genuinely human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. Your performances will be heard by leading AI research teams and contribute to technology used by some of the world's most influential organisations. This role does not involve voice cloning of any kind.

What You'll Do
Record clear, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts
Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, expressiveness, and clarity
Deliver structured, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized voice quality
Review and adjust scripts where needed to ensure they sound authentic and natural to deliver
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Full fluency in spoken German — native or near-native level
Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio roles
Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment
Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances consistently
Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall vocal clarity
Detail-oriented when evaluating and giving feedback on audio quality
Nice to Have
Experience in broadcast, podcasting, eLearning narration, or commercial voice-over work
Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) or home studio production
Knowledge of regional German dialects or accent variations
Prior exposure to AI tools, speech synthesis, or audio evaluation workflows
