Role Description The Wealth Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The individual in this role provides comprehensive financial advisory services to high-net-worth and affluent clients, including assessing their financial goals, risk appetite, and overall portfolio needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing personalized financial plans, recommending and managing investment products, coordinating insurance solutions, and regularly reviewing client portfolios for performance and alignment with objectives. The Wealth Manager will conduct client meetings, prepare detailed reports, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated banking and wealth solutions. The role also involves proactive business development through prospecting, networking, and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
Strong financial advisory capabilities, including Financial Planning and Finance knowledge, to design and implement tailored wealth solutions.
Expertise in Investment Management and Investments to construct, monitor, and rebalance diversified client portfolios.
Solid understanding of Insurance products to integrate protection strategies into overall wealth and risk management plans.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, or similar are an advantage.
Proven experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory, preferably within a regulated financial institution.
Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Comfort with financial technology tools, portfolio management systems, and CRM platforms to support efficient client servicing.
