Role Description The Junior Video Editor role is a full-time hybrid position based in Nagpur, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the editor will assemble and edit raw footage, apply basic motion graphics, adjust audio levels, and ensure visual consistency across automotive review and comparison videos. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing media assets, following brand guidelines, implementing feedback from senior editors and producers, and preparing final exports for YouTube and other digital platforms. The editor will collaborate closely with the content, social media, and production teams to deliver engaging, on-brand automotive content within defined timelines. The role also involves maintaining project files, adapting edits for different formats, and contributing creative ideas to improve viewer engagement and storytelling.
Qualifications
Video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, with basic knowledge of color correction and video transitions.
Foundational motion graphics and visual design skills using software like After Effects or similar tools for titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
Audio editing capabilities, including noise reduction, sound balancing, and syncing voiceovers or music to video content.
Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple projects, managing file structures, and meeting deadlines.
Interest in automobiles, EV technology, and mobility trends, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear visual narratives.
Ability to follow creative direction, incorporate feedback effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional digital content teams.
Basic understanding of YouTube and social media video formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for online engagement.
Relevant coursework, certification, or a diploma/degree in film, media, communication, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing work is required.
