Role Overview
The Associate - Airline Procurement will support the procurement of aircraft parts, materials, services, and operational requirements for airline operations. The role involves sourcing from approved suppliers, managing RFQs and purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with airline and aviation procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of aircraft spares, components, consumables, and airline operational materials.
Handle urgent AOG (Aircraft on Ground) sourcing and coordinate with suppliers for time-critical requirements.
Raise and manage RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
Source and negotiate with airline-approved suppliers, OEMs, distributors, MROs, and aviation vendors.
Monitor order status, delivery schedules, lead times, and supplier commitments.
Evaluate supplier performance, pricing, quality, delivery, and compliance.
Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and applicable aviation regulations.
Support cost-saving initiatives, supplier development, and procurement process improvements.
Assist in resolving delivery, quality, documentation, and supplier-related issues.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or a related field.
1–4 years of relevant experience in airline procurement or aircraft spares procurement.
Experience with airline/MRO procurement processes and aviation suppliers preferred.
Knowledge of aircraft parts, aviation materials, OEMs, distributors, and AOG procurement will be an advantage.
Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems, RFQs, POs, contracts, and supplier management.
Good negotiation, analytical, coordination, and vendor management skills.
Ability to work in a time-sensitive airline operational environment.
