Quantity Surveyor- Aviation

You will join our Aviation department:
As our new Quantity Surveyor, you will work with the team to deliver work in close collaboration with Ramboll colleagues based across the business. You will be part of the Aviation team in India. You will work as part of a lively team, filled with people who are really excited about creating the solutions for the future. Our team is vibrant, innovative, international, and supportive. You will collaborate with your colleagues to play a critical role in defining and delivering projects. Based on a strong future pipeline of work we are now looking to expand the team. The role requires an inquisitive mind, capable of developing innovative and sustainable outcomes to support our clients.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for airside and landside works, including runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities, ancillary buildings, and supporting infrastructure.
Develop and review BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, and tender documentation aligned with airport authority standards.
Evaluate contractor bids, conduct cost comparisons.
Prepare contract award recommendations based on thorough analysis and cost evaluations.
Monitor project costs during design and construction phases, track variations/claims, and prepare cost reports, cash-flow forecasts, and change management documentation.
Ensure accurate tracking of project expenses and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Provide regular cost reports to management

Graduate, or Postgraduate degree in Engineering.
4–7 years of professional experience, with mandatory expertise in aviation sector projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, and contract management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cost estimation, quantity verification, and contract management for airside and landside works.
Should be familiar with CPWD, NBC, IS codes, Contracts, Rate Analysis; familiarity with CSI format will be preferred.
Good analytical skills and problem-solving techniques.
