Role Overview:
The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models, maintaining model accuracy, supporting project teams, and ensuring BIM deliverables comply with project requirements and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update coordinated BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate multidisciplinary models and identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks and BIM 360.
Manage model creation, updates, and coordination as per the BEP and project requirements.
Conduct and support BIM coordination meetings with project teams.
Communicate model changes and coordination requirements to project teams and subcontractors.
Coordinate BIM models with site activities and project requirements, including 4D/5D workflows where applicable.
Maintain as-built models and link relevant project documentation.
Provide technical support and basic guidance on BIM tools and workflows.
Ensure BIM models and deliverables follow project, company, and industry standards.
Support project teams in maintaining accurate and up-to-date BIM documentation.
Required Qualifications and Experience: (Apply only if you meet all criteria)
B.Arch. or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
4+ years of experience in BIM coordination and model management.
Hands-on experience with:
Revit
Navisworks
BIM 360
AutoCAD
Good understanding of BIM workflows and project documentation.
Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
Ability to coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, project teams, and subcontractors.
Preferred:
Experience working on Indian and/or International BIM projects.
Understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
Exposure to 4D/5D BIM workflows.
Experience with as-built model preparation and project documentation.
