Planning and Billing Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Planning and Billing Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), conducting quantity take-offs, and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and documentation of work executed. The Planning and Billing Engineer will manage billing systems, verify subcontractor and client bills, perform rate analysis, and support cost control and budgeting activities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring project progress, updating schedules, analyzing variances, and preparing reports to support timely decision-making. The role also requires close collaboration with site engineers, procurement, and finance to maintain transparent, accurate, and compliant billing and planning processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation skills to handle measurements, estimates, and documentation.
Candidates should possess solid Billing Systems and Rate Analysis skills to manage invoices, validate costs, and support pricing decisions.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret project data, track progress, and support planning and forecasting.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience in planning, billing, or quantity surveying in building or infrastructure projects, preferably in residential or commercial construction.
Proficiency in MS Excel and project management or quantity surveying software (such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional site and office teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present clear reports to stakeholders.
