Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Indore. The Sales Officer is responsible for acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers by promoting the bank’s products, such as accounts, loans, cards, and insurance. Daily activities include generating leads through field visits and referrals, conducting customer meetings, explaining product features, and completing necessary documentation and onboarding processes. The role involves working closely with branch teams and channel partners to achieve sales targets, maintain data accuracy, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Sales Officer also provides ongoing customer service support, addresses queries, and contributes to a positive and professional customer experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term customer relationships.
Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Channel Sales skills to identify prospects, develop new business opportunities, and work effectively with partners and external channels.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain products clearly, negotiate terms, and present information in a professional manner.
Candidates should possess Sales Operations skills, including managing pipelines, tracking performance, and maintaining accurate records in line with bank processes.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, and prior experience in retail banking or financial services sales are beneficial.
Additional beneficial capabilities include familiarity with digital banking tools, local market knowledge in Indore, goal-oriented work habits, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
