Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Engineer role based in Sadar. The Quality Control Engineer will inspect and test machinery components and finished equipment to ensure compliance with internal standards and international quality requirements. Daily tasks include developing and implementing inspection plans, monitoring production processes, documenting nonconformities, and collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues. The role involves maintaining quality records, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. The Quality Control Engineer will also assist in preparing quality-related reports for management and participate in audits and customer inspections as needed.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and use of measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Experience with industrial machinery or mechanical equipment, preferably in converting, printing, or coating machine manufacturing.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and process documentation.
Familiarity with ISO or similar quality management standards and basic understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, engineering, and management teams.
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in using basic computer applications for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Prior experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role is highly beneficial.
