Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Data Testing / ETL QA Testers with 5–6 years of experience in software testing, particularly in ETL and database testing environments. Candidates with hands-on experience in Hadoop, Hive, API testing, and SQL will be preferred based on the requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ETL and database testing to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and validation queries.
Perform data validation across source and target systems.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for database testing and data reconciliation.
Perform Big Data testing using Hadoop and Hive.
Conduct API testing as required.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA teams to resolve defects.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.
Mandatory Skills
5–7 years of relevant experience in Data / ETL Testing.
Strong hands-on experience in ETL Testing and Database Testing.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with RDBMS databases.
Experience in Big Data Testing using Hadoop and Hive is mandatory for relevant requirements.
Experience in API Testing will be an advantage for applicable positions.
Good understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA processes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience working in the Banking / Financial Services domain.
Strong understanding of data flows, ETL processes, and data reconciliation.
Ability to independently analyze requirements and prepare effective test scenarios.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid work model.
