Role Description The Business Development Trainee will support Bhanzu’s growth by identifying prospective learners and partners, conducting outreach, and nurturing leads through the sales funnel. Day-to-day responsibilities include lead generation activities, follow-up calls and emails, guiding families through course offerings, and maintaining accurate records of interactions in CRM tools. The role involves conducting basic market research to understand target segments, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to improve conversion strategies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru (HSR Layout, Sector 1), requiring consistent presence in the office and active participation in team meetings and training sessions. The trainee will be expected to meet performance targets, provide a high standard of customer communication, and represent Bhanzu’s mission and values in every interaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, understand market trends, and track performance metrics.
Candidates should possess clear and confident Communication skills, including spoken and written abilities, for engaging with prospective learners and families.
Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and prioritize potential customers through calls, messages, and online channels.
Candidates should possess Market Research skills to gather insights on customer needs, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide respectful, responsive support and build long-term relationships with learners and guardians.
Basic understanding of sales processes or business development, with the ability to work toward defined targets and timelines.
Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or lead management systems; proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
