Audit Assistant

Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Jaipur. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in basic accounting and hands-on familiarity with Tally. Prior experience in internal audit is not required we are looking for a fast learner who is eager to be trained in audit processes while supporting our broader financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Audit Support: Assist the senior audit team in executing day-to-day internal audit assignments and routine checks.
● Data Verification: Vouch and verify daily accounting entries in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
● Reconciliation: Assist in preparing and checking bank reconciliation statements and ledger scrutinies.
● Documentation: Gather, organize, and maintain supporting documents and data required for audit reports.
● Error Detection: Identify basic accounting errors, missing documentation, or discrepancies, and report them to the supervising auditor.
Qualifications & Experience
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or a related field. CA Inter candidates or those seeking entry-level exposure are welcome to apply.
● Experience: 0–1 years. Freshers with a strong grasp of accounting basics are highly encouraged to apply. No prior internal audit experience is necessary.
● Knowledge: Clear understanding of fundamental accounting principles, bookkeeping, and taxation basics (basic GST/TDS knowledge is a plus).
Key Skills & Competencies
● Software Skills: Basic working knowledge of Tally (Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime) is required.
● MS Office: Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, formatting) and MS Word.
● Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting numerical mismatches and organizing data accurately.
