Position description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and manage operations within the RMHS department at Jindal Stainless Limited, a prominent player in the Mining & Metals industry. The role demands strategic oversight of operational processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals by optimizing resource utilization and maintaining high-quality standards in stainless steel production and related operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee daily operations within the RMHS department to ensure seamless workflow and achievement of production targets.
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, quality control, and maintenance to ensure integrated operational processes.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards specific to the Mining & Metals industry, promoting a culture of safety.
Analyze operational data and generate reports to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
Manage resource allocation including manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize operational efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Collaborate with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in all operational activities.
