Role Description This is a full-time, remote role or can be on-site, based in the Warsaw Metropolitan Area for a Senior Full Stack PHP Laravel Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP, Laravel, and related technologies, from backend APIs to frontend interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating third-party services, and ensuring application security and performance. The developer will collaborate with product, design, and QA to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and help improve development standards and workflows. Mentoring less experienced developers and contributing to architectural decisions are also key aspects of this senior position.
Qualifications
Strong back-end web development skills, including PHP, Laravel, and API design.
Experience with front-end development using HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Proficiency in software development best practices, including testing, debugging, and version control (e.g., Git).
Demonstrated full-stack development experience delivering end-to-end web solutions.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization for high-traffic applications.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
minimum 5 years of professional experience as a PHP/Laravel or full-stack developer; prior senior or lead experience is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
