Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business applications and workflow automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
The ideal candidate should have solid development experience and be comfortable working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and maintain applications using Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
•Design and configure data models, tables, relationships, business rules, and security within Microsoft Dataverse.
•Build and maintain automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
•Develop integrations between Power Platform solutions and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, APIs, and other enterprise applications.
•Create custom connectors and work with REST APIs where required.
•Develop reusable components and solutions following Power Platform development best practices.
•Customize and extend Power Platform solutions using JavaScript, Power Fx, C#, plugins, or PCF components where required.
•Implement role-based security and appropriate access controls within Power Apps and Dataverse.
•Troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, and performance issues.
•Manage solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
•Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
•Work closely with business analysts, architects, and other development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
•Maintain technical documentation and follow established development and governance standards.
Required Skills
•Strong hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
•Strong experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including data modelling, relationships, security roles, business rules, and solution components.
•Hands-on experience developing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
•Strong experience with Power Automate, including cloud flows, approvals, triggers, actions, error handling, and complex workflow automation.
•Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, REST APIs, and other external systems.
•Good understanding of Power Fx and Power Apps formulas.
•Experience with custom connectors and API-based integrations.
•Understanding of Power Platform ALM, solutions, environments, security, and deployment practices.
•Experience troubleshooting and optimizing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
•Good understanding of application development principles and the software development lifecycle.
Good to Have
•Experience with Power BI and embedding reports or dashboards within Power Platform solutions.
•Experience with Dataverse plugins, C#, JavaScript, or PCF components.
•Knowledge of Azure services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or API Management.
•Experience with Power Platform CoE and governance practices.
•Exposure to Dynamics 365 applications.
•Microsoft Power Platform certifications would be an advantage.
Preferred Profile
•Experience: 4+ years of overall development experience with strong hands-on Power Platform experience.
•Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot Power Platform solutions.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
