Role Description The Generative AI Engineer role is a full-time on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying generative AI models to support product innovation, process optimization, and digital experiences across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and fine-tuning models (such as large language models and diffusion models), creating data pipelines, and integrating AI services into internal tools and customer-facing applications. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including IT, product, manufacturing, and customer experience—to understand requirements and translate them into robust AI solutions. The role also includes monitoring model performance, ensuring responsible and secure use of AI, documenting technical work, and staying current with advances in generative AI technologies.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in computer science, with skills in programming (e.g., Python), data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning, including familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar libraries.
Practical knowledge of generative AI techniques, such as large language models, transformers, diffusion models, and prompt engineering.
Experience in building data pipelines and handling structured and unstructured data for training, evaluation, and deployment of models.
Ability to design, test, and deploy AI services and APIs in production environments, using cloud platforms or on-premise infrastructure.
Understanding of responsible AI practices, including model evaluation, bias mitigation, data privacy, and security considerations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant industry experience in AI/ML is highly beneficial.
