We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, network security, troubleshooting, and cloud/network environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and network security devices.
Monitor network performance, availability, latency, bandwidth, and uptime.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, DNS, DHCP, firewall, and performance issues.
Manage VLANs, subnetting, NAT, ACLs, routing protocols, and IP addressing.
Configure and maintain site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
Implement network security policies and access controls.
Monitor logs and proactively identify network incidents or vulnerabilities.
Work with cloud networking environments such as AWS VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables, Load Balancers, and VPN connections.
Maintain network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, inventory, and documentation.
Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, cloud providers, and internal engineering teams.
Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure improvements.
Ensure network infrastructure follows security, availability, and business-continuity requirements.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, NAT and subnetting.
Hands-on experience with routers, switches and firewalls.
Knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, ACLs and routing protocols.
Experience troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
Understanding of network security concepts and firewall policies.
Working knowledge of Linux networking and basic command-line troubleshooting.
Exposure to AWS or other cloud networking environments is preferred.
Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, Ubiquiti, MikroTik or similar technologies is an advantage.
Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, Infrastructure or a related role.
Preferred Certifications
CCNA / CCNP / Fortinet / AWS Networking or equivalent certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
