Job Title: News Editor – Indian Market News (Remote, Indian Hours)
We are looking for a News Editor to cover Indian microeconomic news such as company updates and business developments. The role requires working Indian hours and needs a strong command over English and a basic understanding of news writing, market dynamics and principles of economics and company financials.
Responsibilities:
Curate, edit, and publish concise news stories
Monitor company press releases and Indian business updates
Ensure speed, accuracy, and clarity in reporting
Promote news articles on social media and by newsletters
Requirements:
Excellent English writing and editing skills
Basic knowledge of news writing/journalistic style
Bachelor’s degree in journalism/mass communication preferred
Ability to work Indian hours
