Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Linux Specialist with RHOCP certification, based in the Pune Division. The role involves managing and maintaining Linux and related Unix-based operating systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure. The Linux Specialist will perform daily system administration tasks, monitor system health, handle incidents, and resolve technical issues through effective troubleshooting. Responsibilities include configuring and optimizing servers, supporting RHOCP (Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform) environments, applying patches and updates, and maintaining documentation for configurations and procedures. The role also requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in change management and deployment activities, and supporting capacity planning and infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Linux System Administration skills, with hands-on experience managing Operating Systems and Unix environments.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving system, network, and application-related issues.
Candidates should possess Infrastructure-related skills, including server configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, and basic networking concepts.
Relevant RHOCP (Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform) certification, and practical experience in containerization and orchestration environments.
Good understanding of security best practices, backup and recovery, and patch management in enterprise systems.
Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, collaborate with diverse teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and prior experience in enterprise IT or data center environments.
