Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Surgeon role based at the Pinaka Vets hospital in Panipat. The Veterinary Surgeon will perform soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, provide pre-operative and post-operative care, and manage anesthesia and pain control for a variety of companion animals. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments, and overseeing inpatient and outpatient care. The role involves interpreting diagnostic tests, collaborating with medical and nursing teams, and maintaining detailed medical records in accordance with clinical protocols. The Veterinary Surgeon will also communicate with pet parents about treatment options, surgical procedures, follow-up care, and preventive health, while contributing to hospital protocols, quality standards, and continuous improvement in patient care.
Qualifications
Strong clinical competencies in Veterinary Medicine and Medicine, with the ability to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of companion animal conditions.
Proficiency in Veterinary Surgery, including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, along with safe anesthesia administration and perioperative care.
Hands-on Laboratory Skills to perform and interpret routine diagnostic tests and work effectively with advanced diagnostic equipment.
Demonstrated expertise in Pet Care, including preventive health, nutrition, behavior considerations, and client education on pet wellness.
Recognized veterinary degree (e.g., BVSc or equivalent) and valid registration/license to practice veterinary medicine as per local regulatory requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting, handle emergency cases, and participate in a 24/7 care environment as required.
Clear, empathetic communication skills for interacting with pet parents and collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
