Job Summary
We are looking for a Derivatives Analyst specializing in Options Selling to join our growing team in Bangalore.
The role involves analyzing Indian F&O markets, identifying high-probability opportunities, developing actionable trade setups, and building data-backed options strategies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a real-time market environment and have a strong understanding of options pricing, volatility and risk.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze Nifty, Bank Nifty and stock options to identify high-probability trading opportunities.
Develop and evaluate directional and non-directional options strategies.
Work with strategies such as Bull/Bear Spreads, Straddles, Strangles, Iron Condors, Calendars, Ratio Spreads and other option structures.
Analyze Options Greeks, IV, IV Rank/Percentile, OI, PCR, Max Pain and option-chain data.
Identify market regimes — trending, range-bound, high/low volatility — and select appropriate strategies.
Generate actionable intraday and positional trade setups with defined entry, exit, SL, adjustment and hedging rules.
Monitor live trades and conduct post-trade analysis to continuously improve strategies.
Convert trading ideas into systematic, rule-based and testable frameworks.
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of experience in derivatives research, options trading or a similar role.
Strong practical understanding of the Indian F&O market.
Excellent knowledge of Options Greeks, IV, OI, volatility and option-chain analysis.
Hands-on experience with directional and non-directional options strategies.
Strong understanding of options selling and risk management.
Experience in backtesting and strategy performance analysis.
Ability to convert trading ideas into clear, testable rules.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make quick, data-backed decisions in live markets.
Education
A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
