Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Navi Mumbai, focused on taxation, audit, and compliance within a CA firm environment. The professional in this role will handle direct and indirect tax computations, filings, and assessments, including preparing returns, supporting tax planning, and responding to queries from tax authorities. Day-to-day work will include statutory and internal audits, drafting audit reports, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to applicable accounting and auditing standards. The role involves managing compliance with corporate, GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements, maintaining proper documentation, and updating clients on statutory timelines. The Chartered Accountant will also support advisory assignments for SMEs and startups, assist in due diligence, and collaborate with team members to deliver accurate, timely, and client-focused services.
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 0–3 years of post-qualification experience in taxation, audit, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, GST, TDS, and related regulatory frameworks.
Practical experience in statutory audit, internal audit, and preparation and review of financial statements.
Familiarity with corporate law, legal compliance for SMEs and startups, and basic understanding of entry/exit strategies.
Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and standard office productivity tools.
Ability to interpret financial data, prepare working papers, and maintain accurate documentation.
Effective communication and client-handling skills, with a collaborative and professional approach.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with openness to learning and adapting.
Exposure to real estate advisory or transaction support will be an added advantage.
