TAFCO is positioned beyond selling individual products and provides end-to-end IAQ solutions, combining monitoring, data analysis, solution deployment, and ongoing performance management to deliver healthier indoor environments in residential, commercial, and industrial setups. Job Responsibilities
Product design — design and develop TAFCO's product line: air purifiers, IAQ monitors, and industrial dust collectors, from concept to production-ready
Industrial design & aesthetics — form, ergonomics, and user experience across residential, commercial, and industrial product lines
DFM & engineering coordination — design for manufacturability, working closely with manufacturing partners on tooling, materials, and processes
Prototyping & testing — build & iterate on prototypes, run design validation and functional testing
CAD & documentation — create detailed CAD models, GD&T drawings, and BOMs for production handoff
Materials & sourcing — select materials and components balancing cost, durability, and performance
Cross-functional collaboration — work with engineering, ops, and quality teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturing targets
Requirements
0-3 years of experience in industrial/product design (startup or hardware experience)
Strong hands-on experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent)
Background in hardware, manufacturing, cleantech, or consumer durables and experience taking products from concept to production
This is not a remote position and the selected candidate needs to work from our Ahmedabad office
