Role Description The Sr. Associate role at JVN & Co. LLP is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Sr. Associate will support client engagements across areas such as corporate compliance, taxation, transaction advisory, and regulatory reporting, while coordinating closely with managers and partners. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing statutory filings, assisting with FDI, ECB, and M&A-related documentation, and conducting due diligence and audit support for vendor governance. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts and reports, monitoring compliance timelines, and communicating with clients to clarify requirements and provide updates. The Sr. Associate will also contribute to process improvements, mentor junior team members, and help ensure high-quality, timely deliverables across all client assignments.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in corporate compliance, secretarial practices, and regulatory reporting.
Candidates should possess skills in taxation and accounting, including corporate tax, GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.
Candidates should possess skills related to transaction advisory, due diligence, and financial analysis for FDI, ECB, and M&A activities.
Candidates should possess skills in contract drafting, documentation review, and preparation of project reports and management presentations.
Candidates should possess skills in client communication, stakeholder coordination, and relationship management.
Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CS, or MBA (Finance) are preferred, along with experience in consulting, professional services, or corporate finance.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail; proficiency with MS Office and ERP or SAP systems is beneficial.
