Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Restaurant Cashier role based in Noida. The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders accurately at the counter or on the phone, and processing payments using cash, cards, and digital methods. Day-to-day tasks include handling the cash register, issuing receipts, managing cash drawers, and maintaining accurate transaction records. The role also involves answering customer inquiries, providing menu information, coordinating with the kitchen and serving staff, and ensuring a clean and organized cashier station. The Restaurant Cashier supports overall restaurant operations by delivering courteous customer service and following company policies related to safety, hygiene, and compliance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong customer interaction abilities, including Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service.
Candidates should possess clear and polite communication capabilities, including Phone Etiquette for handling orders and inquiries.
Candidates should possess reliable financial handling capabilities, including Cash Handling and basic numeracy.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Food & Beverage service, including basic menu understanding and order coordination.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in retail or restaurant environments, comfort with POS systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A high school diploma or equivalent, along with basic English and local language skills, is preferred.
