About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and business-oriented Manager - Legal to join our Legal team in Bengaluru. The role requires a strong focus on contract management and the ability to independently support multiple business functions by providing practical, risk-balanced legal advice while enabling business objectives.
What makes the role meaty?
Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements across customer, vendor, marketing, HR, technology, procurement and supply chain.
Handle SaaS, software licensing, cloud, payment gateway and data protection agreements.
Advise on logistics, warehousing, service, partnership and NDA agreements.
Provide legal support on confidentiality, information security and other business-critical contracts.
Provide timely, practical, and commercially viable legal advice to business teams.
Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Lead negotiations with customers, vendors, agencies, and strategic partners.
Collaborate closely with procurement, HR, marketing, finance, technology, and operations teams.
Ensure contractual compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Develop and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.
Drive continuous improvements in contracting processes and legal operations.
Support internal compliance initiatives and legal risk management.
Act as a trusted legal partner for cross-functional teams.
Coordinate with external counsel whenever required.
Manage multiple priorities while meeting tight business timelines.

LL.B. from a recognized university.
7–10 years of post-qualification experience in legal roles.
Strong experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
Excellent understanding of contract law and commercial legal principles.
Ability to independently manage end-to-end contract negotiations.
Strong legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal solutions.
