As part of the Snapdragon retail activation program in France, we are looking for a Team Leader to manage the team of Sales Representatives deployed across the territory. The Team Leader is the link between the program coordination and the field teams, and is responsible for the team's performance, upskilling, and the consistency of in-store activities.
The role is split between field presence and program steering/administrative follow-up (roughly 50/50).
Key Responsibilities
Team management and coaching of the Sales Reps:
Manage, motivate and coach the team of Sales Reps on a daily basis across the territory
Deliver initial and ongoing training to Sales Reps on Snapdragon products, sales pitch and tools
Train Sales Reps on sales techniques and monitor each individual's commercial performance
Set individual objectives, track progress and lead regular follow-up meetings
Continued field activation ("customer set")
Retain ownership of a portfolio of stores/accounts, in the same way as a Sales Rep
Stay close to the field to maintain an accurate view of the challenges faced by the team
Targeted store visits (Fnac, Darty, Boulanger stores)
Carry out in-store visits (~ 30 visits per months)
Visit, on a quarterly basis, key stores located outside the usual Sales Reps' coverage area (e.g. the Strasbourg region)
Represent the Snapdragon program at trade shows and industry events
Retail network performance management
Track sell-out achieved by “animateurs” in covered stores
Develop qualitative partnerships with key retailers (e.g. participation in Fnac & Boulanger "product training sessions")
Identify sales optimization levers and ensure accurate reporting of field information
Reporting and administration
Produce a reliable, comprehensive weekly report on team activity and network performance
Consolidate field data (visits, sales, store feedback) and share it with the client
Prepare and deliver reports in English: materials (presentations) are written in English and presented orally in English to the client
Client relationship
Build and maintain a trusted, close relationship with the client throughout the program
Act as the client's key point of contact on the ground, proactively relaying needs, expectations and feedback
Ensure regular, transparent communication with the client on program progress and results
Profile
Proven experience in retail sales activation, ideally within the tech / high-tech / mobile industry
Prior successful experience managing or leading a field team (Sales Reps, promoters, brand ambassadors)
Strong commercial and relationship-building sense, comfortable both in-store and at trade events
Rigorous with administrative follow-up and reporting
Autonomous, able to organize travel and time between field work and program steering
Driving license (B) required, willing to travel regularly across the national territory
Strong English proficiency required, both written and spoken (reports and presentations are written and delivered in English)
Key Skills
Leadership and coaching: able to train, motivate and develop a team
Strong knowledge of Snapdragon products and ecosystem, or a strong interest in technology
Command of retail commercial metrics (sell-in / sell-out, conversion rate, etc.)
Office and reporting tools (Excel, field tracking tools)
Strong B2B relationship skills with retailers and their in-store teams
Terms
Position based in France, with frequent travel across the territory (company vehicle)
Functional reporting line to the Snapdragon France program coordination
Activity split between field presence and steering/reporting work (approximately 50/50)
