Key Responsibilities
Provide technical inputs for aquarium planning, design and development.
Assist in preparation and review of aquarium technical specifications and tender documents.
Advise on marine and freshwater aquatic life-support systems, water quality, filtration and aquatic habitat requirements.
Develop inputs relating to aquatic animal collection, husbandry, nutrition, quarantine and welfare.
Assist with species selection, exhibit requirements and habitat design.
Review requirements for aquarium operations, maintenance and animal care.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, aquarium specialists and other consultants.
Provide technical support during the tendering and project development stages.
Eligibility
Master's Degree / Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology, Zoology, Aquatic Biology, Fisheries Science, Oceanography or a related discipline.
Relevant professional experience in aquariums, marine life, aquatic animal husbandry, life-support systems, aquatic conservation or similar projects will be preferred.
Experience with public aquariums, zoo aquariums or large-scale aquatic facilities will be an advantage.
Strong technical documentation and coordination skills.
