Architect

Role Description
An Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs, technical drawings, and practical design solutions while coordinating with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, and details.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Translate client requirements into practical and functional design solutions.
Coordinate architectural designs with structural, civil, and MEP teams.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and design assessments.
Review shop drawings, materials, and technical submissions.
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and regulations.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues.
Monitor construction work against approved designs and drawings.
Support RFIs, variations, site issues, and design revisions.
Assist with authority submissions, permits, and project approvals.
Prepare design presentations, reports, and project updates.
Support value engineering and cost-effective design solutions.
Ensure design quality, accuracy, and compliance throughout the project.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
Relevant experience in architectural design, construction, or consultancy.
Strong knowledge of architectural principles, materials, and construction detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.
Experience preparing architectural and technical construction drawings.
Good understanding of building codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
Strong multidisciplinary coordination and project management skills.
Creative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and design accuracy.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project documentation tools.
UAE/GCC architectural and construction experience is advantageous.
Professional, reliable, organized, and proactive approach.
