AI Research Intern — Reasoning Systems & Thinking Machines
iNOSnet | Internship
We are looking for curious and technically strong interns interested in exploring a fundamental AI question:
How can we build machines that reason, learn from experience, question their own conclusions, and solve unfamiliar problems?
This internship focuses on the research and engineering foundations of reasoning systems and thinking machines, going beyond conventional chatbots and prompt engineering.
What you may work on
Machine reasoning and problem-solving systems
Knowledge representation and structured memory
Learning from experience
Hypothesis generation and verification
Self-critique and reasoning under uncertainty
Knowledge Graphs and graph-based reasoning
LLMs and intelligent agents
Experimental evaluation of machine reasoning
Who we're looking for
Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields
Strong Python fundamentals
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
Interest in LLMs, Knowledge Graphs, reasoning systems, or intelligent agents
Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving ability
Curiosity about how machines can reason rather than simply generate answers
Experience with Python, PyTorch, LLMs, Neo4j/graph databases, NLP, or agent frameworks is useful, but not mandatory.

We value people who enjoy difficult problems, question assumptions, experiment, learn from failures, and are comfortable exploring problems where the answer may not already be known.
This is not a prompt-engineering internship. It is an opportunity to work on reasoning systems and the foundations of intelligent machines.
