Manager- Business Development, Institutional Relations & Empanelments

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi NCR for a Manager- Business Development, Institutional Relations & Empanelments. The role involves identifying and developing new institutional partnerships as well as maintaining pre-existing ones, including hospitals, corporate organizations, insurance companies, TPAs, and government or public sector entities.
The manager will oversee empanelment processes, negotiate and finalize agreements, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, monitoring performance of institutional tie-ups, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams for seamless service delivery, and preparing regular reports and presentations on business development activities.
The role also includes contributing to strategic planning for growth, supporting marketing initiatives, representing the centre at relevant events, and continuously exploring opportunities to expand the instritutes network and business relationships.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong business development and relationship management skills, including experience in institutional tie ups, key account management, and stakeholder engagement.
Candidates should possess skills in negotiation, contract management, and empanelment processes and reconciliation process with the ability to handle agreements with insurance companies, TPAs, corporates, and government panels.
Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of these topics and be able to help internal clincial and billing teams with details of agreements and troubleshoot their doubts to help in smooth running of the hospital.
Candidates should possess planning, analytical, and reporting skills, including comfort with data analysis, performance tracking, and preparation of management reports and presentations.
Candidates should possess communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners, and professional representation of the organization.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in healthcare, eye care, hospitals, insurance, or allied sectors, especially in institutional business or empanelments, will be highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, meet timelines, and demonstrate high standards of ethics, integrity, and customer orientation.
