guide patients and their families through IVF package counselling and provide a compassionate patient

Job Objective
The Financial Counsellor bridges the gap between medical advice and a patient’s financial planning. In this role, you will counsel patients and their families on the value of IVF treatments, explain pricing packages clearly, drive treatment conversions, and manage precise documentation to ensure a seamless clinical experience.
What you will do / Key
Responsibilities
1. Patient Counselling & Treatment Conversion
Educate Families: Explain the benefits of advanced fertility treatments (such as IVF, IUI, ICSI, and Donor Cycles) to patients and their family members.
Financial Advisory: Break down treatment costs and packages clearly, matching them to the consultant's medical recommendations.
Drive Conversions: Address financial concerns and guide patients toward confirming their treatment packages through active follow-ups.
Consent Management: Walk patients through legal and medical consent forms to ensure they fully understand all terms before signing.
2. Operations & Data Management
Maintain Records: Keep accurate, up-to-date data logs of all advised treatments and patient files.
Follow Quality SOPs: Adhere strictly to the center’s standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and quality benchmarks.
Issue Escalation: Promptly report any patient grievances, process delays, or administrative errors to senior management.
3. Team Coordination & Clinic Environment
Internal Alignment: Coordinate closely with Senior Counselors and the Tele-sales team under the Financial Wing.
Patient Flow: Work with clinical and nursing staff to ensure patients move smoothly through their appointments.
Clinic Atmosphere: Maintain a warm, compassionate, and professional clinic environment to reduce patient anxiety.
Key Performance Areas- Performance in this role will primarily be measured on:
The clarity and empathy of your counseling sessions with patients and families.
Accuracy of financial counselling regarding IVF packages and advised treatment.
Patient’s Financial conversion for various IVF packages and related services.
Support patient decision-making and handle financial inquiries.
Track payments, instalments, and coordinate with the accounts department.
Accurate and timely maintenance of patient data and records.
Timely explanation and completion of required consents.
Adherence to center SOPs, protocols, quality benchmarks and monitoring requirements.
Effective coordination with Senior Counsellors, inter-center team members and Tele-sale Person under the Financial Wing.
Patient experience, center environment and professional follow-up.
What You Need to Have
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing/Healthcare, Commerce, or Administration.
Experience: More than 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Experience: Relevant experience in IVF, healthcare counselling, patient counselling, package counselling or a similar patient-facing healthcare role.
