Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will work full time remotely at Zubeg Ideal Tech Limited’s location in Abia State, Nigeria. This role involves editing video content for marketing campaigns, social media, training materials, and client projects, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, performing color correction and grading, and integrating graphics, motion elements, and audio. The Video Editor will collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs, propose visual concepts, and revise content based on feedback. The role also includes organizing project files, maintaining an efficient workflow, and staying informed about industry trends and editing best practices.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience turning raw footage into polished, engaging content.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone, image quality, and stylistic coherence across projects.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling, branding, and viewer engagement.
Hands-on experience with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci capcut) and basic audio editing tools.
Solid understanding of social media and digital marketing video formats, aspect ratios, and platform optimization.
Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
