Role Description The Trainee role is an internship position based on-site at the Verveox Technologies office in Kochi. Interns will support development and learning activities by assisting with coding tasks, testing basic features, documenting processes, and collaborating with mentors on projects related to web, software, or app development. Day-to-day responsibilities may include participating in training sessions, contributing to small project modules, learning to use relevant tools and frameworks, and applying guidance from senior team members to solve technical problems. Trainees are expected to demonstrate curiosity, follow best practices shared by mentors, and gradually take on more responsibility as their skills grow.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in programming languages such as Python or Java, with a willingness to learn additional technologies as needed.
Basic understanding of web development concepts (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or software/app development principles.
Interest in emerging domains such as cybersecurity, ethical hacking, AI, Linux, or IoT and readiness to engage in hands-on learning.
Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions and document work clearly.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate respectfully in a diverse team environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certified course in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Motivation to learn, openness to feedback, and commitment to completing assigned tasks and project milestones on-site in Kochi.
