Job Responsibilities
As Housekeeping Public Attendant, you will support all Housekeeping and Laundry team for all aspects by delegating the day to day activities Housekeeping and Laundry within the hotel. Specifically, a Housekeeping Public Attendant will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Cleans and maintains toilets, lifts, back areas, terrace, etc.
- Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms.
- Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and shampoo machine.
- Washes walls and ceilings, arranges and disinfects all furniture surfaces
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Dust and polishes metal work.
- Cleans and maintains restaurants and banquet halls.
- Sweeps carpets.
- Empties outside ashtrays and urns.
- Polishes public area including furniture and fixtures.
- Vacuums and polishes elevators.
- Removes trash collected in all areas.
- Cleans and maintain all equipment daily.
- Follow up special cleaning schedule.
- Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of their areas.
- Responsible for spring cleaning of their area as per the schedule given.
- Keeps the front and back of the hotel free from trash.
- Post caution signs as and when required.
- Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
- Complies with Lost and Found Policy of the Hotel.
- Assists Guest in Public Areas when required.
- Responsible to maintain inventory in the Housekeeping closets.
- Return and maintain housekeeping trolleys at end of shift.
- Return and restock cart at end of shift.
