Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically inclined fresher with a background in Electronics or Physics to join our team as a Junior BOM Engineer.
The candidate will be responsible for creating, verifying, updating, and maintaining Bills of Material (BOM) and will coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure BOMs are accurate and aligned with product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) based on engineering/product requirements.
Verify details for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Check component names, part numbers, specifications, quantities, and other relevant details.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams for BOM-related requirements.
Identify discrepancies or missing information in BOMs and coordinate with the team concerned for correction.
Ensure the latest component specifications and revisions are incorporated into BOMs.
Maintain proper documentation and records of BOM revisions and changes.
Support BOM updates based on engineering changes, product modifications, or component substitutions.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of technical/product information.
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of electronic components and their specifications.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
