Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain core backend services that power Praxas AI’s supply chain management platform. Responsibilities include architecting scalable systems, implementing robust APIs, integrating AI-driven components, and ensuring reliability, performance, and security of production services. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, perform code reviews, and drive best practices in software engineering. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, Haryana, requiring regular collaboration and problem-solving with the local team.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-quality applications.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, building and maintaining APIs and distributed services.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in modern codebases.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with data-intensive systems, integration with AI/ML components, or event-driven architectures is beneficial.
Ability to write clean, testable code and perform thorough code reviews in a collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Background in calculus, permutations and combinations and mathematical modelling.
Background in supply chain operations, inventory management, prediction forecasting
