Role Description
We are looking for an Application Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and technology professionals interested in software engineering, application development, backend development, frontend development, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, automation, enterprise applications, and modern software-development practices.
The Application Software Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to design, develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve software applications, internal platforms, APIs, databases, automation solutions, and business systems.
The role may involve working with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, PHP, or Go, along with application frameworks, databases, REST APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, version-control systems, and other technologies depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in application development, software engineering, software development, backend development, frontend development, full-stack development, web development, enterprise software, automation, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates currently working as Application Software Engineer, Application Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Backend Developer, Backend Engineer, Frontend Developer, Frontend Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Full Stack Engineer, Java Developer, Python Developer, Web Developer, Junior Software Engineer, or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, PHP, Go, or a similar language.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, debugging, application architecture, and software-development fundamentals.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js, or similar technologies will be advantageous.
Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, and system integration.
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases will be beneficial.
Understanding of database design, tables, relationships, joins, queries, normalization, indexes, transactions, and CRUD operations will be advantageous.
Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable applications, or event-driven systems will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, debugging, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
Exposure to JUnit, PyTest, Jest, Mockito, Postman, API testing, unit testing, integration testing, or similar testing tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, configuration management, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, messaging systems, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architecture will be considered an additional advantage.
Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, application security, API security, secure coding, or identity-management concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to application performance optimization, troubleshooting, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and observability will be advantageous.
Exposure to automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications will be considered an additional advantage.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, change management, or issue tracking will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, maintainable, and scalable software applications.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, academic project, application-development project, software project, backend project, frontend project, API project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
Candidates without previous full-time application-development experience can also apply.
Strong willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, application architectures, and modern software-engineering practices.
