Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MIG Welding role based in Patna. The MIG Welder will perform daily welding tasks, including preparing materials, setting up welding machines, and executing MIG welds on various metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include inspecting welds for quality and accuracy, performing basic maintenance of welding equipment, and following established safety procedures and company guidelines at all times. The role involves working closely with fabrication and production teams to meet project deadlines, minimize defects, and ensure consistent output. The MIG Welder may also assist with related welding processes and general workshop duties as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong MIG Welding skills, including setting parameters, handling equipment, and producing clean, structurally sound welds.
Candidates should possess experience in Welding and Arc Welding for general fabrication and repair work.
Candidates should possess familiarity with TIG Welding for applications requiring precision and high-quality finishes.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including properties of different metals, welding compatibility, and appropriate filler materials.
Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and job instructions.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of workshop and site safety practices, including use of PPE and safe handling of tools and equipment.
Candidates should possess basic equipment maintenance skills and attention to detail in inspecting weld quality and dimensions.
Relevant technical training or certification in welding from a recognized institute is beneficial; prior experience in industrial or fabrication settings is preferred.
