Role Description The Dispatch Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bawal, responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations. This role coordinates shipment scheduling, monitors order status, and ensures accurate and timely dispatch of materials and finished goods. The Dispatch Assistant Manager supervises dispatch staff, assigns tasks, and enforces safety and compliance procedures within the dispatch area. The role involves close collaboration with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to resolve delivery issues and optimize dispatch workflows. The Dispatch Assistant Manager also prepares regular dispatch reports, tracks key performance indicators, and supports continuous improvement in logistics operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead dispatch teams and oversee daily operations.
Candidates should possess Dispatching and Operations Management skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor shipments efficiently.
Candidates should possess Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with internal teams, transport partners, and customers professionally.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple orders and resolve issues under time constraints.
Working knowledge of dispatch or logistics software and basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, email).
Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or logistics environments is preferred.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is an advantage.
