Blank The Agency is a Mumbai-based boutique creative and social media agency. We work with brands across luxury real estate, FMCG, education, healthcare, and D2C, and we've built work for 100+ brands over the last decade. We're a small team, which means your work gets seen, shipped, and noticed.
The role
We're looking for a Junior Video Editor who can generate, edit, and finish content end to end. That means creating visuals, footage, and voice using AI tools, building motion in After Effects, and cutting it all together in Premiere Pro into sharp, scroll-stopping content. This role is for someone with a strong command of these tools and a real eye for design. Editing is half the job. The other half is knowing what looks good and why.
What you'll do
Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, campaigns, and brand films
Create motion graphics, animated supers, and transitions in After Effects
Generate original images, video, and voice using AI tools, from prompting and iterating to getting output that's actually on-brief and on-brand
Work closely with writers, designers, and account teams to bring scripts and storyboards to life
Adapt one piece of content across formats and platforms (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, LinkedIn)
Keep projects organised and hit deadlines without cutting corners on quality
What we're looking for
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
Hands-on experience generating content with AI tools (e.g. Runway, Kling, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, or similar), with the judgement to know when an output is usable and when it needs another pass
A solid understanding of design language: typography, layout, colour, hierarchy, and pacing. You should be able to look at a frame and know what's off
A feel for rhythm and storytelling in an edit
A portfolio or showreel that shows your range
0-1 years of experience. Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply
Nice to have
Basic Photoshop / Illustrator skills
Sound design and audio clean-up
An understanding of social media trends and platform-native formats
