Head of Investments

Role Description The Head of Investments at CCV Secondant is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s investment portfolio and guiding long-term financial strategy. This role involves evaluating existing and potential investments, monitoring market trends, and developing data-driven investment strategies aligned with organizational objectives. The Head of Investments will conduct regular portfolio reviews, prepare performance reports, and present recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include performing financial analyses, assessing risk and return profiles, maintaining investment policies and procedures, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in investment management, with experience overseeing diverse investments and portfolio performance.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective investment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, assess risk, and support evidence-based investment decisions.
Solid foundation in finance, including understanding of financial markets, instruments, and valuation methods.
Proven experience in a senior investment or portfolio management role, ideally within institutional or corporate settings.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are highly beneficial.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-specialists.
Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with a track record of working independently in a remote environment.
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical investment practices.
