Role Description
We are seeking a technically capable, organized, and detail-oriented Site Engineer to support the planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of construction and engineering activities. The role involves ensuring site works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements, while coordinating daily site activities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams. You will monitor construction progress, inspect completed work, identify technical issues, and assist in implementing practical solutions to keep projects on track.
The role also involves conducting site inspections, checking materials and workmanship, maintaining site records, preparing progress reports, and documenting changes, issues, and corrective actions. You will support coordination between design and construction teams to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and properly implemented.
You will assist with project scheduling, quantity tracking, testing and inspection activities, quality control, and compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations. The position also requires maintaining accurate technical documentation, monitoring safety practices, and supporting project completion and handover activities.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, technical drawings, specifications, and site coordination.
Ability to interpret plans, drawings, technical documents, and project specifications accurately.
Knowledge of construction quality control, inspection procedures, safety requirements, and relevant engineering standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, project documentation tools, or related engineering software.
Strong analytical, technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, suppliers, engineers, and project teams.
Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple site activities and deadlines.
Ability to prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and technical documentation.
Professional, proactive, responsible, and safety-conscious approach to site operations.
Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and project execution.
