Role Description The Senior Web Designer will be responsible for leading the design and development of visually compelling, user-friendly websites that reflect client brands and support their business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include creating layout concepts, designing UI/UX for web pages, collaborating with developers on front-end implementation, and ensuring responsive performance across devices and browsers. The role involves working closely with the digital marketing, content, and graphic design teams to maintain design consistency, improve user engagement, and optimize conversion paths. The Senior Web Designer will also mentor junior designers, participate in client discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Zirakpur.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills to create modern, user-centered interfaces for diverse devices.
Candidates should possess Graphic Design and Graphics skills to develop visually appealing assets aligned with brand guidelines.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills to translate designs into efficient, standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript implementations.
Experience with Wordpress and Shopify is must, and with other CMSs such as Squarespace, webflow etc is a plus
Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and familiarity with wireframing and prototyping workflows.
Solid understanding of UX principles, web accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Atleast 5 years of professional experience in web design, including a portfolio showcasing responsive, user-focused websites; prior leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Salary : INR 25000-40000 /month depending on experience
