OPI & VRI Interpreter

Role Overview
This is a full-time, remote role for Vietnamese-English speakers
Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) & Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) combined
Our interpreters support hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, insurance companies, government agencies, schools, banks, customer service centers and many other organizations across the United States, facilitating communication between English-speaking service providers and Vietnamese-speaking clients
The role requires professionalism, active listening, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in real-time conversations.
Responsibilities
Interpret conversations accurately and professionally between Vietnamese and English speakers
Support medical and non-medical interpretation sessions
Follow interpretation protocols and professional standards
Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements
Ensure clear and effective communication during live interpretation sessions
Maintain a professional remote working environment
Work hours
Monday to Friday
Weekends off
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST, meaning
7 PM to 4 AM or
8 PM to 5 AM* (Hanoi time)
Compensations & Benefits
30,000,000 VND gross monthly
100% salary rate for Social & health insurance in accordance with Vietnamese labor law

Qualifications
Fluent in Vietnamese and English
Strong verbal communication and listening skills
Comfortable working overnight shifts
Stable high-speed internet connection
Has a dedicated working place that is quiet and professional
Good time management and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
Interpretation or translation experience
Experience in medical, legal, business, or customer-facing communication roles
Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Medical, Legal, or related fields
Familiarity with remote communication platforms or CAT tools
