The center focuses on providing coordinated, evidence-based care that addresses both medical needs and overall well-being.
Role Description The Pediatric Dietitian is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon, responsible for providing nutrition care to children and young adults with endocrine and metabolic conditions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing nutritional status, developing individualized diet plans, and delivering medical nutrition therapy in collaboration with endocrinologists and other clinical staff.
The role involves conducting one-on-one and family-based nutritional counseling sessions, educating patients and caregivers on dietary modifications, and monitoring progress through follow-up visits. The Pediatric Dietitian will document care in medical records, participate in case discussions, contribute to patient education materials, and support preventive and wellness programs at the center. The position requires close teamwork with physicians, nurses, psychologists, and other allied health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Dietetics and Diet Planning, with the ability to design age-appropriate, culturally sensitive meal plans.
Certified Diabetes Educator
Practical clinical experience in Type 1 Diabetes.
Proficiency in Medical Nutrition Therapy for pediatric endocrine and metabolic conditions, including obesity, diabetes, and growth disorders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Registered or licensed dietitian/clinical nutritionist credential, where applicable.
Previous experience in pediatric or endocrine settings is highly desirable.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to children, adolescents, and caregivers.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams.
Basic proficiency in using electronic medical records and maintaining accurate documentation.
Strong command and fluency in English and Hindi.
Self-dependent for travel. Coverage to 2-3 locations may be needed.
