Intern (Impact Entrepreneurship)

This is a remote internship opportunity for a 10 week Internship for Impact Entrepreneurs (sector agnostic). This opportunity is designed to provide exposure to non-law students and early stage entrepreneurs to global IP and technology strategy while supporting the LOCS community and its mission.
The intern will be a part pf a program that will familiarise them with IP law, technology and policy issues relevant to impact-driven enterprises and enable them to establish their own venture.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include getting acquianted with with strategy development for impact entrepreneurs, contributing to content and materials and helping map regulatory and market developments across key jurisdictions.
The intern shall have the opportunity to collaborate with legal and strategy consultants, participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions and help organize information and documentation for ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Strong research and analytical abilities, especially in law, policy, business, or technology domains relevant to impact entrepreneurship.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, accessible formats.
Demonstrated interest in intellectual property, innovation, sustainability, or social impact, through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
Comfort working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in law, public policy, business, technology, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Familiarity with global regulatory or IP landscapes is an advantage, as is experience with digital tools for research and collaboration.
